We would like to thank and recognize our wonderful sponsors who help this team survive and grow!
There are many expenses involved with keeping a drill team ready to perform and compete. A driving team has even more, since they must have matching carts and harnesses that are kept in show condition, in addition to costumes for the drivers and decorations for the horses. Some events require overnight stays, so stalls are needed and decorations for them. The drivers also need somewhere to stay when the event is more than 1 day. Between events, minis must be hauled to practice sessions and sometimes the show carts also.
In the past years we have had the support of wonderful sponsors who donate at different levels to help with all the expenses, so that drivers of all income levels can participate in this fun sport. This is also a learning experience for them, as it teaches responsibility, poise, confidence, sharing and leadership as they prepare for and attend the different events each year together.
So far, we have the cost of 8 of the 12 show carts covered by sponsors whose names are engraved on a plaque afixed to the back of the cart.
All sponsors are recognized on a poster board at each event and here on our website. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please click above for the information and application.
We also accept donations of driving minis (or those with potential) or equipment, such as carts or harnesses for practicing, so we can keep our show carts looking good.
